I'm finishing up the first draft of my mystery crime novel, License to Kill. The project should be complete at 75,000 words.
When Homicide Detective Sailor Palermo is assigned to a string of unusual murders in Baltimore hospital Hayward Harris Medical Center, the case hits too close to home because his father is a kidney cancer patient at the same hospital. Sailor and his partner, Callie Steele, have to work to outsmart this serial killer so they can catch him before he takes the lives of any more patients. The only problem is he's one of the hardest serial killers to profile - ever. The detective task force can't figure out how he's choosing his victims, how he's killing them, or why each victim had recently had a near-death experience before their murders. As the killer escalates, Sailor will have to muster every once of detective instinct he has in order to keep the world as he knows it from falling apart.
I'm in the planning stages of a new YA medieval fantasy novel.
